MY NEW YORK MOMENTS – Part Un
I know now why people love this city so much, I’m in love with it myself – for so many reasons!!!
*CULTURE (museums, music, all the beautiful ethnicities, Broadway plays, and so much more!!!)
*HISTORY (Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, the burroughs, the jazz music scene)
*MUSIC (The Village Van Guard, Blue Note)
*FOOD (Black & Whites, cannolis, mufungo, eATERY, John’s Pizza, Amy’s Bakery)
*PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION (what’s not to love about the Subway & the buses & the plethora of available cabs – even the gypsy cabs)
*DENSITY (just look up – you miss so much by just looking ahead but you can discover new things on the ground, too!)
*PEOPLE (whoever said New Yorkers were rude had a screw loose!)
*NEIGHBORHOODS (especially the West Village;)
*SHOPPING (shoes, shoes, shoes, scarves, and the world’s largest Macy’s – every girl’s ‘affordable’ and not so affordable dreams)
*CELEBRITIES (the home of SJP and many others I’ve spotted during my stay)
I’ve had the great fortune of spending the last eight days here in this phenomenal city and I don’t want to leave – really, I want to stay. It all started on…
